Hello friends. It is wonderful to check in with you every Tuesday. I can't thank out hostess Elizabeth enough. Be sure to visit her blog.
Tuesday is the one day of the week I try to get a blog post together. I used to be a pretty regular blogger but life changes. I hope to get back to it sometime soon.
Here you see my glass of water and breakfast. Well, half the plate was for me and half for DH. I usually have yogurt and fruit but this morning I was in the mood to cook.

I have spent quite a bit of time knitting this winter. I'm making the shawl pictured here. Vogue pattern, Rowan Kidsilk Haze yarn
The patterned part is called a mosaic slip stitch. Can you see those tiny lengths of yarn? Like knitting cobwebs.
I'll be visiting everyone soon and knitting in the meanwhile.
What a yummy looking breakfast, and as I haven't eaten yet, I think I'll have the same:) Beautiful shawl and pattern. Love the colors too! Happy knitting, and happy T day!
ReplyDeleteThat shawl is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt must be like knitting with spider web! Beautiful - I haven't seen that mosaic pattern and think it's very nice. Will look forward to seeing it when it's finished. The breakfast looks wonderful - but for lunch...I am a toast and coffee breakfast person for the most part.
ReplyDeleteThe shawl is lovely and I would think quite the challenge! I don't eat breakfast, but your looks delicious! I like the colorful plate and glassware. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteYour breakfast looked delicious. And that shawl will be beautiful once it's done. I don't know how you can work with such thin threads, though. (I know I couldn't, and I'd go blind.) Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteA very yummy looking breakfast Darla and a beautiful shawl and pattern. Happy knitting and happy T - day!

I LOVE avocados, so that breakfast looks good to me, too. I also like the colorful plate and glass you used. They scream summer to me.
ReplyDeleteThat knitting yarn is beautiful, but I agree with Ardi about the yarn looking like spider webs. It will be insanely beautiful when you are finished.
Thanks for sharing your knitting, your breakfast, and your water with us for T this Tuesday. I hope you WILL be able to blog more often soon.
Wow, those are tiny web like strands of yarn. I can crochet, but for some reason, knitting was always difficult for me. I love avocados!
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day!
Your breakfast looks yummy, Darla. The shawl is gorgeous! That mosaic stitch looks tricky. Well done!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day! Eileen xx
Your shaw is coming along beautifully! I love the pattern and the colors that you have chosen. That yarn looks so soft.
ReplyDeleteI usually have yogurt and fruit for breakfast. Yummy and easy.
Happy Tea Day,

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a healthy breakfast although I cannot really make out what it is. (I only recognise the avocados).
ReplyDeleteThat shawl looks utterly beautiful. What a labour of love that is! Such fine yarn and intricate pattern. Wow. It will take a lot of time and patience. But it will be lovely and also cozy when you get to wear it.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

ReplyDeleteMy goodness, what a beautiful shawl! I don't think I'd have the patience to knit, and deal with yarn like cobwebs. So I always miss out on the beautiful knitwear. Enjoy your weekend!
