Good Morning. I may be the last one to the tea party this morning. I know Elizabeth and the rest of the group will save a place for me though. It is that kind of party. You will be welcome too, just click HERE.
This morning I'm having what I call Blossom Tea. I can't remember the real name. It is tea/herbs/florals that come dried and bound is a small ball. When you add hot water the ball opens into a lovely flower. The tea itself smells very floral and is mild in flavor.
Last time I was out for my morning walk I found the following. The three messages were spaced out over a long sidewalk.
I felt the universe had left me a message. Do you ever come across surprises when out walking?
Interesting messages! I have that tea in a Chinese restaurant before.
ReplyDeleteThe tea sounds delicious. Those messages are interesting. I'm not sure how to interpret them, though. Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteMy friend has a pot and tea balls like this- nice light flavors. Interesting message. i do get surprises at times when walking but usually they are in the form of nature- like a unique feather. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteI've also had some of that blossom tea, but mine didn't bloom as well as yours. Mine also didn't taste very good, so I hope yours tasted better than mine.
ReplyDeleteLike Anne, I'm having trouble interpreting the "love" in these messages. It must have made for an interesting walk, though.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful blooming tea and your sidewalk experience with us for T this Tuesday. You are definitely NOT late to the party, dear Darla.
Really interesting messages, it would make me wonder who wrote them and why.
ReplyDeleteYour tea looks refreshing and flavorsome.
Happy T day wishes.
Yvonne xx
I love flowering teas! I only get them out on rare occasions because they are so expensive. They are perfect for impressing visitors that like tea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun thing to do. I love the idea of writing encouraging messages on the sidewalks. We live in a rural area but if i lived in a city this would be a fun thing to do.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
I know I've seen photos of Blossom Tea before but never in real life. It looks like the perfect thing for a special occasion :) The sidewalk messages are an encouraging touch. I've never seen anything like that here. Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteWow, the tea flower is amazing - I love it! Such motivational messages that you dicovered too 😁. Sometimes we find hearts made of pebbles or driftwood on the beach which always makes me smile. Wishing you a happy T Day! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteYou have a great street art messenger!
ReplyDeleteThe tea sounds interesting, even though I'm faithful to my coffee....but I did drink some tea last night :0!
What a lovely tea flower! I love that sort of thing. Someone once gifted me with a tea flower she had brought back from South Africa. It was lovely tea too (not just nice to look at).
ReplyDeleteAn interesting message on the floor. No I've never found anything like that.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

What a pretty picture of your blossom tea, Darla.
ReplyDeleteYes, I've had messages like that. In fact I got the most beautiful one of my life just a week ago. It's probably too personal to share at T. But yes, the messages are there for those who want to see.
Happy T-day! Eileen xx
That looks like a delicious and soothing cup of tea! Wish I were close enough to join the tea party. :)
