Hello and Happy Tuesday.
Here is the tea I'm trying this morning. I am familiar with Stash Earl Grey but this one with double bergamot is new to me. I like it but not everyone I know is a bergamot fan. As I said in a recent post, I am looking for new things in the grocery store.
Take a look at our Crab Apple tree in all its glory. I showed the photo to someone who thought it was framed. It is just the view from our covered porch. See the bit of railing at the bottom?
Cicely Mary Barker
Do you think if we look close enough we might spot a Crab Apple Fairy? I certainly hope so. I have always been fond of Barker's art.
Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating this week. Please join me at Elizabeth's blog for a cup of tea.
I love the fairies from Barker too I still have a few vintage postcards that I share with my slow mail friends. Lovely fall tree too and yes it does look framed Happy T
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful tree! Our leaves have all fallen and trees are bare.

I like stash tea, and I like to try new teas. And your tree is very lovely Darla. Happy T day, Happy Thanksgiving and week ahead. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteHave you spotted the fairy yet? I have always loved those books by Cicely mary Barker. They remind me of my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI have never had double bergamot tea. I like the smell of bergamot. We used to disinfect our hands/gloved hands in a bowl of bergamot when I worked in the labour ward in southern Italy. (I have also been a midwife among other things).
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
Happy Thanksgiving to you and William and your family, Darla. Love the Barker fairies. Will have to give your tea a try. Thanks for the heads up on it.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing is your view with that beautiful autumnal coloured tree! I do hope a fairy lives there, and the illustration is so pretty too 😊. Do you use the crab apples for maybe crab apple jelly? A lovely cup of tea - Happy T Day! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteI do like bergamot. Sounds like a great tea. A very nice view indeed. Have a lovely day and a happy TG.

The flower fairies are so sweet, aren't they! I have a couple of little books of them around here somewhere... Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI first thought it's a framed photo, too, until I noticed that it isn't. You have a great view from your window right now, such briliant colors. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what Bergamot tastes like or if i like it double or not.. lol Lovely photo of your tree.. I miss leaves changing color... Doesn't happen much here in TX.. Happy T day! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI have never seen double bergamot tea Earl Grey before, and I buy Stash. I will have to look for it. It does kind of look like a framed picture. Lovely Baker painting, too. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteMy sincere apology for taking so long to visit. I realized I needed to drag myself out of bed and see what you had offered for T this week. I'm definitely not a very good host, but I want you to know I greatly appreciate your visit and for linking this week. Yes Darla, this is embedded comments.
ReplyDeleteLovely crab apples. I've never heard of that tea before. Happy T Tuesday and happy Thanksgiving, dear.
Your crab apple tree is beautiful - a fairy really would make it extra special. I'm not a tea drinker but but I know hubby has a wide selection.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving and belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
