Mornin' Darla, Yes, I enjoyed this book. And several of her other writings, too. I've not read Anthony Adverse, but I think it may have been assigned in a lit class when I was in high school and I was dodging my homework and didn't read it. (hanging head in shame)
I have this book. It was my Mom's and when we cleaned out her house I snagged it. I haven't read it yet, but it's encouraging that it comes recommended.

I remember reading this one, and in fact some parts of it are still as fresh in my mind as the day I first read it. I think this is a powerful work.
