Tea Stands for Tuesday - 6/21/16

Time to say hello to all my tea friends.  There is a "spicy" party is going on over at Elizabeth's blog this morning so why don't you check it out - or join us?  You'll meet a great bunch of bloggers.

Here you see my colorful knitting bag, my travel cup of coffee and my latest knitting project.  I'm making another charcoal grey beanie.  The one I made last year was sent to a family member and a couple of other's in the family requested one.

By the time you read this I will be heading out the door.  My DH is having total hip replacement surgery this morning at a hospital in San Francisco.  I will be there waiting and knitting.  I think (hope) I will be able to concentrate enough to knit two, purl two as the waiting time goes by.

I may be awhile to getting around to visit everyone but I look forward to seeing what everyone is up to this week.

  1. Love your knitting bag and that beanie would look good with my duffel-coat, too! Good luck to your husband, I had a knee replacement at the end of February and am very happy that I did it. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

  11. Good luck to your hubby. I hope his surgery goes well. Were you able to focus? Hospital waiting rooms are so full of tension, sometimes it might be hard to knit and pearl. But with that snazzy knitting bag, I would think you would be inspired. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

  12. A very cute bag, nice knitting and a special coffee cup - good resources for a day of waiting, Darla. All the very best to your HB for the hip replacement, a formidable surgery. So many of our friends are having this very thing - it is positively fashionable! By now it might be over, and I hope recovery goes very well and smoothly, with a quick return to the River House :)
