Time to celebrate 10 years of Tea Stands for Tuesday.
Such a big THANK YOU to our hostess, Elizabeth for keeping this going.
You can visit Elizabeth and previous Tuesday posts here.
I was excited to see mail from Germany.
Here is a closer look at the stamp. It looks like there is a bar code attached to one sside. I havent seem that before.
Iris created a postcard for the exchange. I love how colorful it is. If you are familiar with ther blog you will recognize the lion as her signature animal.
The two tea bags she included are Tuddel, a blueberry tea and the second one is Sunshine in Cup, an herbal tea with lemon grass. I have not tried them. I wanted to be sure to get pictures before opening them. I will of course be saving the tea wrappers for mixed media art.
How fun that you got to swap with Iris and she sent you a Henry! Happy 10th anniversary to TSFT!
ReplyDeleteYes Iris sent you Henry-I loved her postcard and the teas sound really nice too. Happy 10th anniversary for T
ReplyDeleteIt is an interesting swap with Iris. Great to receive a mail from Germany including stamps. Beautiful postcard too. Thanks for all the sharing. Happy 10th T Tuesday anniversary!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to show the number 10. More than once, too. I loved how Iris made her own postcard. And he was a Henry, too. Those teas sound wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you and I are having the same problems with blogger. It took me nearly three hours to get my blog post written for my ICADs yesterday. I was very frustrated, as I'm sure you were, too. I think it's blogger, because I don't have the same lag time when I leave comments at places other than blogger.
Thanks for sharing your number 10, your swap items you received, and your tea and cookie with us this special 10th anniversary T Tuesday, dear Darla.
Glad the Henries and tea arrived :-)
ReplyDeleteI´m just having your Tumeric, Ginger, Black Pepper one - yum! Happy T-Day!
So fun to get mail from Germany and from our sweet, Iris. So appropriate for her to include Henry in her post card too! The teas look fabulous and love how you did the number 10 plus your drink and cookie kind of look like a ten - lol. Lovely anniversary post, Darla. Hugz
