July is becomming a very busy month.
I discovered this tea at Sprout's grocery. I'm afraid it doesn't taste as good as I expected it to. I actually had to steep a slice of ginger in it to get much flavor at all. I think I fell for the colorful packaging.
Since I can't see well enough to drive and I don't have a car I've been back to walking the neighborhood, I don't go as far as I used to but I'm trying to build up my stamina. The insurance from my car has been settled and soon I will be car shopping.
Three family members have birthdays this month and a wedding is coming up next Saturday. It is Party Central here.
Speaking of parties, lets hop on over to Elizabeths blog and check the Tea Party there.
sounds like a busy month for you, I love the tea box too and I shop that way allot-sad the tea was not good as expected. good luck with your eye surgeries-I was disappointed in ours-the good clarity the first year doesn't last long-its been around 5 years now an my eye sight isn't as good as I expected .
ReplyDeleteHappy T Kathy
Surgery on the eye sounds very scary - but great it can be done, I know! Wishing you a great party-month! And I think we all went through the dream of a great tea leaving us disappointed... Yay for pimping! Have a great T-Day!
ReplyDeleteMy suspicion is that if one wants flavored tea, one should add the wished-for flavor to tea that was already worth drinking. However, I usually drink tea made from a very ordinary tea bag! So don’t ask me!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the recovery and the second surgery. This is now such a frequently-performed procedure that it’s highly reliable.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I find a lot of the flavored teas don't live up to their promises - luckily some do. Hoping you find just the right car and that things go well with your eyes. Happy t-day!
ReplyDeleteI fall for pretty packaging too! Even though it is a disappointment it is great to know that it is not a loss. I love combining teas to make some more palatable.
ReplyDeleteGlad that your surgery was a success.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Sorry the tea didn't taste as expected. Glad you are walking and getting some stamina back. Very pretty garden too. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteNot a big flavored tea person here ... just good old Lipton black tea for me.. I'm so happy the world is going to be a brighter place for you! Happy T day! hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry the tea didn't live up to your expectations. But I'm afraid that's life!
ReplyDeleteYou're having quite a busy month by the sounds of it. Enjoy!!
Happy T Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
I hope your cataract surgery is as successful as mine. I was really happy with it; had both eyes done about 7years ago. That is what I remember, too, how bright colors were after the surgery. Sounds like a great season in your life with all the celebrations. Enjoy. Happy T Day.
ReplyDeleteI've been known to be sucked into a product because of the packaging, too. It is a lovely image at least, even if it didn't taste good. Still LOVE your Nana Banana mug.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your cataract surgery went well. I hope you have equally good luck with the other eye. I've read horror stories that weren't as positive as yours.
Thanks for sharing your lovely walk (such a beautiful street), your surgery, and your coffee and mug with us for T this Tuesday, dear Darla. I just hope you find time to join us next week for our 10th anniversary. Sounds like you have a very busy schedule.
I'm late Darla but just wanted you to know I didn't forget you. I love that mug! And I'm glad you can see the world in a brighter way, One day I will need cataract surgery. I guess it is inevitable for many of us. I hope your week is going well and enjoy your parties. hugs-Erika
