Tuesday and time for tea. We have been at our River House recently. I don't have internet there so I have to catch up on things when we return to the Bay.
This is the view from the back of our property. The river is running really high for this time of year. That is due to the snow melt from record amounts of snow in NoCA this past winter.
It is so enjoyable to sit our our front porch and drink my coffee.
The jasmine around our courtyard is in full bloom and smells wonderful. Everything is quite lush. The gate is open, come on in.
Here is a closer look at the vine that covers the trellis over the gate. I don't know the name of it, do you?
Join me in visiting everyone having tea at Elizabeth's blog. There is always something interesting going on there.
What a lovely home to get away from everything for a bit and just enjoy nature. Happy T hugs Kathy
ReplyDeleteLooks so relaxing and fun! So cool to be able to get away like that and to such a lovely place. Happy t-day!!!
ReplyDeleteYour river house looks so lovely Darla. Sitting on the porch drinking tea (in that pretty cup) sounds perfect to me. Happy T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are high enough that there is no chance of your river home flooding. What a lush, lovely front entrance you have. CJ will go to PlantNet or whatever it's called and be able to tell you what the vine is. Your coffee on the front porch would be perfect from that view. I bet it smells as lovely as it looks. Thanks so much for sharing these photos with us for T this Tuesday, dear Darla.
ReplyDeletethe plant from Pl@ntNet is identified as a trumpet vine. Very pretty. Sitting outside and having coffee in a beautiful surrounding is a little slice of heaven. Lucky you! Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteDarla i'm thinking that may be a Bower Vine?? The shape of the flower may scream Trumpet Vine but i've never seen one that color so i don't know.. Anyway i can just imagine sitting out of your porch smelling the jasmine... lovely.. Happy T day! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Can you steep your Jasmine plant for tea?
