I have a small collection of old postcards. I showed this one here some time ago but thought I would bring it up again in honor of Valentines Day tomorrow.
This old postcard, mailed in 1909, says it all! Things haven't changed much in over 100 years.

I don't know the people involved but I love the fact that one sister sent it to another with that message on the back.

ReplyDeleteI remember that postcard from the first time you shared it. I thought how sweet that the man was taking care of his wife. It was quite different from how men were usually portrayed in that era. Thanks for this lovely second look on the 2nd, dear Darla.
