Good morning friends. I hope this Tuesday finds you well and ready to finish the last month of the year. I'm always eager to join Elizabeth and everyone for tea.
We have not been out for a meal since March. That doesn't mean we haven't talked about it.
This is an old photo taken at the Black Bear Diner. Are you familiar with the place? I know it is a chain but think it may be limited to the West Coast.
After some discussion we decided this is the first place we will go to for breakfast as soon as it is safe.
Do you have a favorite place that you miss?
I have never heard of this chain, but I live on the east coast so that may be why. Eating out like a normal person is something that I think we are all looking forward too when this all over.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
Like Kate I also live on the East coast- not all that far from her- and have never heard of this chain. Actually the places to eat that we miss the most are in Cape May- a place we love to visit by the sea...we can all hope for it all next year. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLoving the Black Bear logo and I bet the diner is fabulous 😁. Thanks for sharing and wishing you a very happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI miss the closest Mexican restaurant most of all I think. I have a list of restaurants I plan on going to just as soon as we're past this plague. In the meantime, we are having some take-out and some delivery, but it's just not the same.
ReplyDeleteHappy T Tuesday!
Yes I know Black Bear Diners well. Here in Florence, OR. we have the worst restaurants. Truly some of the worst food. Don't get me wrong I have had good meals out but they are inconsistent and very expensive. When we use to eat out it was in Eugene or Coos Bay. Cities in the opposite directions. LOL I can honestly say I don't miss eating out at all, but I enjoy cooking. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteHi Darla. Nice to see you at T. I've never heard of Black Bear diners. I have favorite restaurants that I miss. But unfortunately, they're all in NY and NJ. Not in Mexico where we live now. lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day! Stay safe and well. Hugs, Eileen
I've not heard of Black Bear Diners, but that may be because I'm in the midwest. I miss eating out, PERIOD. Since March, I have been cooking my own meals and I am not a very well balanced cook. I went all out for Thanksgiving and forgot to share any photos. Unlike Nicole, I don't want to stay home, but must until this disease is over.
ReplyDeleteI do. I miss the little hole in the wall place we always went for breakfast. I might have been to a Black Bear Diner in Shasta several years ago. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Happy December and hope it's been a super T day Darla.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of the Black Bear Diner, but I love black bears and covet that mug. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky enough to get out for a safe meal between lockdowns! I don't think there are any more planned for a long while! Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI like the bear on the mug and glass. I have a few places that I miss. I haven't done any take out or inside dining since March, either. It will be awhile before I do. Happy belated T-Day!
