Tea Stands for Tuesday - 10/21/19

Yes, it has been ages since I've participated in Elizabeth's Tea party on Tuesday.  I've missed everyone.  My very old computer decided it had enough and gave up.  People who know about those things tell me my data can be restored.  I hope so.  Meanwhile I'm using the computer that belongs to DH and trying to remember passwords.  So its coffee for me this morning.

I have managed to figure out Halloween is only a few days away.  Enough time to mail a couple of cards.  This is the first one going out.

Lets go visit the rest of the tea party friends over at Elizabeth's blog.

  6. Passwords! Don't get me started lol Sometimes I'm sure I'm right and it's the computer or web site that's remembering it wrong. I love your skeleton card. I'm gonna share your coffee photo on FB ;) Happy T Tuesday!

  8. Welcome back to the Tea Party. (I joined it earlier this year.) I chuckled at the quote with your coffee cup image. I like your Halloween artwork. It's one of my favorite holidays.

I feel your pain with the computer "situation" because I'm going through something similar myself, although I'm lucky to have all of my data. If the hard drive is still good inside your old computer, you can get the data off of it. (There are a few steps involved.) For the future, I recommend getting an external backup drive, and copying your files to it on a regular basis. They're relatively inexpensive these days. (I don't recommend storing any data on "the cloud," but that's just me personally. Unless your data is encrypted, whoever works for the "cloud" company has access to your data, even if they "claim" they don't look at it. And some encryption can be cracked.)

  11. I'm thrilled to see you again at T, Darla. I hope it continues and you are able to retrieve your data and photos from your old one. I assure you, you have been missed.

Had to laugh at the coffee card and quote. It was so clever and seemed to set the stage for your computer concerns.

Loved the Halloween card. It is so well done, too. Thanks for sharing your coffee card and quote as well as your Halloween card and your computer woes with us for T this Tuesday. Sorry I'm late visiting.

  14. Being off the internet is such a shock these days. I remember when not having a phone line was that same feeling of being cut off, but the internet has a wider effect. I hope you get things figured out soon. Cute card. :)
