Tea Stands for Tuesday 8/15/23

Good Morning friends.  I have Lady Grey tea in my cup this morning.

I'm enjoying a piece of blueberry cake along with the tea.

In Snacking Cakes, the indulgent, treat-yourself concept of cake becomes an anytime, easy-to-make treat. Expert baker Yossy Arefi’s collection of no-fuss recipes is perfect for anyone who craves near-instant cake satisfaction.

All the recipes are for small cakes, most in an 8x8 pan.  Perfect for the two of us.  Some of the recipes are online.  You can get the recipe for this cake here   The blueberry cake went together easily and turned out to be delicious.

Please join me and others at the tea party Elizabeth hosts on Tuesdays.  You can find the party here.

  1. I have that cookbook, and I love it. Your blueberry cake looks yummy. As I love Lady Grey too. I bet the lemon twang is great with blueberries. Have a wonderful T day. hugs-Erika

  2. Your blueberry cake looks delicious! And I have found the recipe of that cake on the front of the book (on the Internet). I like it that it uses small oven tins as I'm on my own and don't need huge cakes. I'm definitely going to make one. Thanks for pointing me in this direction.
    Happy T-Day,
    Hugs,

  6. Sorry I'm late visiting. I spent time today in an ice bath trying to help my back I hurt during the neighborhood clean up. Even though I bent with my knees, I felt something go when I stood up.

I'm not sure I've ever had Lady Gray tea. It sounds like I need to try some.

You sent me down a rabbit hole when I went to look at that book and recipe. I was there reading about all those cakes, ice cream, cheesecake, pies, etc. I can see why you love that book. Thanks for sharing your tea and that amazing book and blueberry cake with us for T this Tuesday, dear Darla.

  9. Blueberry cake sounds delicious, and a smaller cake would suit us nicely. I like the lighter bergamot in Lady Grey tea. Happy T Day!
