Tea Stands for Tuesday 8/3/21

Good morning.  Here I am joining everyone at Elizabeth's blog for a cup of tea.  I don't manage that every week so I'm kind of proud of myself.  Lol!

My tea is ready and there is a  slice of this bread in the toaster.  I like to try new to me breads.  This one is called Honey Rye Porridge bread and has just about every kind of flour in it you can think of.  It is tasty but I was hoping for more rye flavor.

Here is my latest watercolor.  I find painting with watercolors a little challenging.  No covering up errors.  On the other hand, I like the delicate or fragile feeling I can sometimes capture.

Hope everyone has a good week.

  1. The bread sounds fabulous, I'd love to join you today for a slice and a cuppa today 😀. Wishing you a very Happy T Day and a wonderful August! Hugs, Jo x

  2. I love the sound of the bread, nothing better than a slice of bread with just butter and a cup of tea. Love your painting, pretty colour
    Happy T day

  3. What a pretty mug, and the bread looks tasty. Watercolors are challenging, but it looks like you're up to it. Pretty! Happy T Tuesday

  4. Sounds like a delicious bread. You have painted the delicacy of the flowers beautifully. Happy T day!

  5. I don't see any errors in your watercolor painting, dear. It is beautiful.

Your bread looks beautiful. Too bad there is not more rye in it. It even looks a bit pale for rye. But it sounds good, and I am sure it went well with your tea, too.

Thanks for sharing your watercolor painting, your bread, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear Darla. It's always good to see you here.

  6. That certainly looks like yummy bread. I think I will join you in having a slice and a cuppa.
Your watercolor is beautiful. You have perfectly portrayed the delicacy of the flower. (California poppies?)
    Happy T-Day,
    Take care,

  7. Your bread looks delicious. I love trying new breads too. Especially for toast in the morning or at lunch. And your watercolor is wonderfully done. Hope you're having a wonderful T day. Hugs-Erika

  8. The bread sounds a bit like Annadama bread and looks delicious. Your watercolors are beautifully delicate. Happy T Day

  9. Looks like the results of a productive day. The bread looks yummy and I like the poppy watercolor. I have a great-niece named Poppy. I made a lot of bread during the pandemic - the bread that I ordered on-line with the groceries often arrived squished. the house always smelled so wonderful while it was baking! Loved your Tuesday post.

  10. The bread sounds interesting! I adore your watercolour - poppies really are a lovely flower! Belated happy T day, Chrisx

  11. Hi, the bread sounds nutritious and delicious. Beautiful painting.
