We spent much of the summer at the River House. While the weather has been setting records for heat, the river is not nearly as low as it was this time last year.
DH has his favorite fishing spot on our property. That little white bucket is for holding the fish he catches.
I'll be posting bits and pieces about our adventures later this week.
Meanwhile I'm off to say hello to my blogging friends. I hope they haven't forgotten who I am.
Hello Darla!!
ReplyDeleteMornin' Darla, I am deliriously happy to see your return. I was beginning to wonder if you had abandoned it. My high school friend sent me a site to check how the eclipse will affect/be seen in your area. It's a good site. Explains eclipse, JUST PUT IN YOUR ZIP CODE to get your time.
ReplyDeletethis is a pretty cool site: https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2017/7/25/16019892/solar-eclipse-2017-interactive-map
Again, so happy you're back. Looks like DH has a plum spot for fishing.
Good Morning!!! Gosh, we both came back on the same day! We finally got moved to a rental in Bakersfield......in this scorching heat. At least you have a cool river to look at.
ReplyDeleteI could never forget you, dear Darla, and I'm delighted to see you back in blogland. I look forward to more posts from the River House, even though I suspect you are now back by the bay.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you back Darla, and the river is looking good :)
ReplyDeleteI will look forward to reading about your adventures; meantime enjoy the fish and the Summer. Did not realise there was an eclipse - oops...
