Tea Stands for Tuesday - 4/11/17


This Tuesday finds me back by the Bay.  It seems like I've been on the go for a few weeks now.  Perhaps I need to pick a spot and settle down.

I managed to visit a couple of thrift shops between running errands. The River House is basically furnished so my thrift shop visits have slowed considerably.  At one shop I spotted this teapot which fits in with my colorful mismatched china so well.  I didn't have a teapot there. Perfect condition - $3.50.  Sold!



I vaguely associated the name Debbie Mumm with decorative china or maybe interior decor.  I looked her items up online and while I didn't find this exact teapot I did find lots of colorful pieces of china.  Anyone collect Debbie Mumm china? 

Do you use a teapot or do you make your tea one cup at a time? We use a teapot quite often as we generally use loose tea not tea bags.

    Well i don't drink tea often Darla... but when i do its by the cup with tea bags... my favorite is just black tea but i do like a good chai too.. What a lovely T pot.. Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb

    Nice bargain Darla! I have heard that name before. Sometimes i like a small pot and other times I just need a cup. Happy T day!

    Good morning and Happy T Day I think for some reason I use my tea pots more in the summer time. It is just me that drinks tea so I have collected several very small hand made tea pots-I love them but don't use them as much as I should. most of the time I end up heating a cup of hot water in the microwave and then adding my tea bag but when I use loose tea I for sure use my tea pots. Have a good week hugs Kathy

    I love your new-to-you teapot :) We have a couple of teapots, but we tend to like different kinds of tea so tend to make it by the cup. Our teapots are definitely boring compared to yours!

    Thanks such a cute teapot, I love the colours and style - beautiful! We use a teapot too for our loose leaf green tea, it's glass and came all the way from Japan so makes perfect tea :-) . Wishing you a very Happy T Day! J :-)

    Your teapot is quite colorful. I adore it and it goes with your colorful scheme, too. Sorry I'm late getting here. I can't seem to get your blog to load for my sidebar. Maybe it's tired since I put it to such activity today.

    Great find! I almost always make one cup at a time, but my son makes a pot as he also uses loose tea.

    Your teapot was a great find. it looks lovely.
    I usually just make my tea in the mug, but I would use a tea pot if I wanted to serve more than just myself with a cuppa.

    Love Debbie Mumm designs! though I don't usually use a tea pot, this one would tempt me for sure, so cute! thrifting is a lot of fun, and while I don't need any more STUFF, it's still tempting to stop by and browse. ;) happy T day!

    Darling teapot. What a find! I don't drink tea at all and never realized how dull my life was because of that before joining the T-party. No lovely mugs, cups or teapots. No decisions about which tea and how to brew and what tea goes best with my meal. I have to think of some way to jazz up my drink choices - lol. Happy T-day, Darla! Hugs, Eileen
