Good morning friends. I've missed a couple of tea parties and I'm happy to be able to join the group today.
We decided on kind of the spur of the moment that we needed some time away. Some time without electronics. Some time where someone else would make the coffee or the tea in this case. We packed, locked the doors and off we went.
What better place to relax and regroup than at the beach.
This particular beach is about half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Most of time time it was just as you see it here. Empty. October is often the best month to visit California beaches in my opinion. The weather is usually warm enough (this time in the low 80s) and the summer crowds are gone.
Now it is time to visit Elizabeth's blog and catch up with everyone who is having tea this Tuesday. Won't you join me?
Looks lie a great place to relax and enjoy life! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to be able to get away, unplug and enjoy a quiet beach-totally my cup of tea too! Hope you're feeling rejuvenated by it. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to guess, I would say you were at Avila and Port San Louis.....if not, then they look identical...LOL!
ReplyDeleteYes, October is a good time to head to the beach! Off season is always the best..........unless you have your grandkids with you...*grin*
Happy T-day
It looks a beautiful area to spend some time relaxing. Super photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy T day.

That is when I'd love to visit the beach as well. The weather sounds perfect!
ReplyDeleteHappy T day!
I have NO idea why people think summer is the time to visit the west coast. It's hot, muggy, smoggy, fire ridden, and overcrowded. I've always thought Christmas was basically the same, with rains and erosions.
ReplyDeleteThat beach looks very inviting. And it is always great when someone else serves you tea (or coffee), isn't it?
Thanks for taking us to the beach with you this week, and we are SO glad you are back with us again. But of course, we are delighted you had a great getaway, too.
Well you have been missed around here Missy!! Glad to have you visit!!! That beach vacay sounds wonderful!! Thats exactly when i like to visit the beach ... when its empty!!!! So good to see you!! Happy happy tday!! Hugs! deb!
ReplyDeleteI think you are soooo smart. Just knowing when it is time for a break is half the battle. The beach looks great! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThe beach is always the perfect place for rejuvenation, especially at those times of the year when the crowds are gone.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to escape to!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to get away for some R&R Darla.
ReplyDeleteThat is my idea of a lovely beach visit with solitude and perfect temps too...ahhhh.
Happy T Day to you oxo
What a lovely beach. And it is empty too. I love the beach when it is not crowded. We hardly ever go to the beach (and there are some beautiful beaches in southern Spain) as they are just too busy. So, good for you for getting away and relax a bit. It looks like the perfect place.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Have a good week,
Blessings,
Lisca
Looks like you had a lovely relaxing time on your inpromptu getaway and the beach looks so inviting and peaceful - ideal for much needed R&R - wonderful! Wishing you a Happy T Day! J :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous place to find time to relax! Hope you are getting on well now! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteOH that beach is so beautiful ♥♥♥ It's been forever since I've been to the beach. Soon hopefully!!!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a getaway, and extra doubly nice that it included the beach!
ReplyDeleteI've had internet access issues and missed tea entirely. I'd love to wander that lovely beach. Beautiful!
