Tea Stands for Tuesday - 2/23/16

It is time to join the Tea party at Elizabeth's.  Bring your morning drink and see what is going on.

It is coffee for me first thing in the morning.  Later today I will be trying this Pomegranate tea.  I like almost anything with Pomegranate.

I have a new stack of books to read while drinking my tea.  The books were sent to me from my friend Laurie who has a blog devoted to book reviews.  If you need some suggestions for reading - or avoiding - be sure to check Laurie's blog.  Tell her I sent you.

I'll be reading "Georgia" (about Georgia O'Keeffe) first.  Coincidentally the new yarn I'm knitting with is a colorway called Georgia.  Yes, I'm a Georgia O'Keeffe fan.

See you at the tea party!

  1. I've never had the Bigelow Pomegranate. I like Constant Comment so much, I end up always having it, but the pomegranate sounds like it'd be worth branching out for. Thx!

I'll definitely check out your friend's book reviews and appreciate the suggestion :) O'Keeffe's art is so striking, I think.

    Happy T Tuesday!

  5. I have never had pomegranate tea, but it sounds great, and I bet the tea bags would be worth saving.

I'm a BIG fan of Georgia O'Keefe and got to see her museum while in Santa Fe. I even took a side trip to her home and studio in Abiquiu (sp?). It was the highlight of my New Mexico and Santa Fe trip.

Thanks for sharing your tea and your latest books with us for T this Tuesday. Sounds like a site we book lovers need to visit.

  8. I don't read nearly enough now, it's not through lack of books that I want to read, just always seem to be doing something else here! It's a different matter when we go to the caravan! Hugs, Chrisx )

  11. Oh yes, I am an O'Keefe fan too, Darla. Have you been to Santa Fe and seen her gallery? It is quite wonderful. I would enjoy 'Georgia'; I have 'O'Keefe & Stieglitz' by Benita Eisler, published in 1991. I"m sure your book will be more up to date, but I do enjoy reading about this interesting couple.
