Tea Stands for Tuesday - 10/10/17

This morning I'm bringing my drink to the party via some cards I bought.  I make cards, you can see an example on yesterday's post.  I just don't make them as fast as I use them.

This boxed set of blank cards with three coffee themed photo's seemed like something I would like to have on hand.

Had to do an assortment of errands yesterday.  Needed printer ink, etc.  Things that require a stop at a specific store for one item.  I arrived home a little frazzled.

Dinner was one of my favorites though.  Potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream.  There is some steamed broccoli on the plate as well.  Trying to convince myself that this is a "healthy" vegetarian meal.

I'm off to join the tea party at Altered Book Lover.  Hope to see you there.

PS - There are lots of fires in NoCA. but they are about 50 miles from us.  So many places we have visited over the years.   Elizabeth, thank you for thinking of me.

  1. Potato pancakes sounds like a healthy vegetarian meal to me, Darla. Carry on...
I am sorry to hear there are fires again in California, and I do hope they come no nearer. It has been another hot and dry year for us too.

  4. Those coffee cards are fabulous. I suspect you are going to find many friends who like your selection, especially when they find them in their mailbox.

Not sure about the potato pancake, but the rest of the meal looks very healthy to me. It is truly a vegetarian meal, though, and for that I applaud you. Thanks for sharing your coffee cards and meal with us for T this Tuesday. Don't you just hate it when you have to drive all over town to buy a single item at each store? I surely do.

BTW, I haven't seen the weather report this morning, but late last night the news people were saying the CA fires were ZERO percent contained.

  12. I hope you stay safe from those fires. They appear to be awful. But your dinner looks yummy. I like broccoli but would skip it with the potato pancakes. I'd just go for it and enjoy the meal. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

  15. Running soooooo late for this return visit...sorry!
I have been wondering how far you are from the fires. There have been a few pop up around here, but were taken care of quickly......but that is just on the valley floor...and nothing like what's happening in your are.
