Good Morning Tea Party people. Are you finding it hard to believe it is September already? I am. A visit to the local produce market this time of year is such a treat. Everything is so colorful.
I want some of everything. I don't find it difficult to eat my vegetables at all.
They have a wide variety of fruits too of course. Have you ever tried Dragon Fruit? I haven't yet but will one of these days.
Outside the market they have an area with lots of flowers. Sunflower season must be just about over. Time to grab a bunch before they are gone.
Shopping is finished, everything put away. Now it is time for some relaxing chamomile tea. I'll be checking with Elizabeth at the Altered Book Lover blog to find out what the other tea posters have been up to. There is always something interesting there.
Lovely fresh produce at your market. Enjoy your tea. Happy T day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI do love a good produce market too. Have not tried dragon fruit but wouldn't mind having it sometime. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of dragon fruit, but it'd be interesting to try. I love those sunflowers. It's hard to believe summer's over. We're still have highs in the 90s here, but we can still feel a change in the sun. Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos, Darla!! They brightened my morning.

Yes indeed Darla wondering how in the world September can be here already!
ReplyDeleteI have seen dragon fruit at the market but wouldn't begin to know how to pick one. Hope you give it a whirl and report back ;-)
Lovely market you have there and the black and white tile in your last photo is stunning!
Happy T Day to ya oxo
What a great market! I love my veggies too.
ReplyDeleteI have not been to our local Farmers Market....We went to a few in CA when we lived there but found them very expensive... I should give it a try here in Arkansas... Lovely photos! Love the sunflowers! Happy happy Tday! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI love veggies, and hope to grow more of my own next year. Until then, I will drool over the really fresh fruit and veggies at your disposal.
ReplyDeleteYou may have my share of the tea. I don't care for chamomile. But I'm glad you like it, and shared it with us for T this Tuesday.
I do love veggies and those all looks so pretty and healthy and makes one happy! I love chamomile tea as well - will brew me one now.. good idea!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day!
What a wonderful Farmer's market you have there. Nothing so grand around here. :( And those sunflowers are just gorgeous..........nothing says fall (to me) better than sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the T-day comment.
I also love veggies. In fact I also think they are quite beautiful, so your photos of the veggies at the little market stall are wonderful. What a great T Day idea. Hope its a good one. Hugs-erika
ReplyDeleteThe produce stalls look very inviting, I would have been filling my basket there.
ReplyDeleteHope you have had a happy Tuesday.
Yvonne
I'm not sure where this year has gone either! The fruit and veggies look wonderful, so lovely to have this produce market on your doorstep. I love your teapot and the reflections of the beautiful tiles you have captured! I have a glass one that's similar, it makes the perfect cup of tea everytime :-). Wishing you a Happy T day! J :-)
ReplyDeleteThose produce stalls look great and I must say that I love Sunflowers! Happy T day! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteNever tried dragon fruit, but the veggies and sunflowers look wonderful there. :)
ReplyDeleteOur farmers markets are starting to move into fall mode around here, as are a lot of the gardens (mine included). A lot of local produce is "done" for the year, or about done, and a lot of flowers, sunflowers included, have gone to seed already. Bring on the fall!
ReplyDeleteI love the abundance of fruit and veggies at the moment. It's so colorful, healthy and delicious. I saw lots of dragon fruit in Hawaii, it looks so beautiful!
