Our wisteria is blossoming, the vine goes over our front gate. It was a wonderful greeting as we returned home.
Here is a closer look. This plant always amazes me because DH grew it from a seed pod he found years ago when we were on vacation. It grew is a pot for quite awhile and then became part of the permanent garden. It delights me every time it blooms.

Happy to have you home again, Darla. That wisteria plant is just gorgeous! I've always wondered if such a thing could be grown from a seed. Now I know. Thanks William for proving what was only a thought once.

ReplyDeleteI adore wisteria and yours is so beautiful. There was one here when we came, but alas it died (due to our ignorance I suspect). A replacement did not last either. They need to be tough here!

That is so cool that you guys grew the wisteria from a seed! I love that plant. Mine finally bloomed for the first time last year (two blossoms) so I'm hoping for a decent show this year.
