Here we are on the first day of December. That signals holiday shopping time for me. I do pick up a few things as I see them during the year and this year I've knitted quite a few gifts. December 1st means I need to get serious though as some things have to go in the mail.
Lets do some window shopping to get started.
This is a gift bag that was in the window of a book/paper store. I think any of us posting here would like to receive a present in this bag.
Clothes seem to be staying in the black/gray/white range
How about a pair of boots? I'm sure someone would like the brown ones with all the embroidery.
Last, but not least, here's a beautiful hand thrown pottery teapot. That should please anyone in the Tea Tuesday group.
Be sure to visit the Tea party going on over on Elizabeth's blog. Bring your drink of the morning and tell us what you are doing on the first day of December.
Love the shop windows, and I would really like those brown embroidered boots. Love that beautiful gift bag, too. Have a fun week, happy T day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat color scheme is right up my daughter's alley, but I much prefer a little more color myself, I could totally wear those embroidered boots!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely T Day!
Those boots are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHappy tea day, Darla.
The pottery would definitely tempt me the most. ;)
ReplyDeleteFor me to buy boots like that...they'd have to come with a set of castonets. Love your Tuesday stands for Tea days.
ReplyDeleteI would love the embroidery boots, but would die for the hand thrown teapot placed in the cute bag!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day
Hello December,
ReplyDeleteI feel s o bad for not commenting for ages. But this time I definitely wanted to. You are right. Christmas is around the corner and your picks are attempting. Liking the ever going on color scheme, the gift bag and unique pottery.
We do minimal gift exchanging over here, Mariel and Molly will be remembered.
We grown-ups will just enjoy the leisure time : ).
Oh I would definitely love that gift bag at the top especially! Love the embroidered boots but I'd be afraid of somehow ruining them. Happy T day to you!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun window shopping with you! Love those boots.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me window-shopping :) I like the bag best. I guess clothes don't catch my eye like they once did now that I have so many in the closet. But those boots! I might make an exception for them ;)
ReplyDeletelove those boots and what a cute foxy bag
ReplyDeleteYes! Love that bag! Grey seems to be popular this year - there was a whole article in one of the Sunday Supplements the other week! I love your photos! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThose boots belong out on display--lol!
ReplyDeleteYes, lovely teapot. Happy T-Day! :)
hmmm...boots or a tea pot? difficult decision! maybe both? happy T day!
ReplyDeleteYou're right--I find the fox on the gift bag adorable. Thanks for inviting him to tea today. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me shopping. In real life I hate it, but window shopping like this is quite pleasant. The gift bag is awesome and I certainly like the tea pot.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Lisca
Good window shopping, Darla. Yes, I'd love that gift bag with the fox - It would look good under my Christmas tree. Those black/white/grey clothes are everywhere here too. Suddenly the bright stuff looks all wrong...
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Darla. I love that bag. It is the perfect thing for today's post. That teapot was adorable, too.
ReplyDeleteThe clothes remind me of ones I saw in the Mall when Kathy was here. Only theirs were mostly browns and beiges, because they were showing Thanksgiving items.
Thanks for taking us shopping with you for T this Tuesday. It was a fun outing.
Well those boots certainly make up for the neutral colours of the clothes!!! I love the little bag - much more charming than the usual cheesy present bags.
ReplyDeleteThose boooooooootttttttsssssssssssss!!!! I love them!
ReplyDeleteThat gift bag is so cute- reminds me of graphics from the 60's and early 70's.
Hello and Happy T Day! What fun things to see while out window shopping, would love them all, especially that lovely teapot! Thanks for sharing!
