Tea Stands for Tuesday 8/4/2020

I'm late, I'm late said the White Rabbit.  And I say, well at least I showed up, hahaha.  I hope the tea party is still going on at the Altered Book Lover blog.

I am drinking a cup of my new Earl Grey tea and feeling quite spoiled this morning.  The tea was is a gift from a friend.

Before having tea, I put my mask on and went for an early morning walk.  Only saw two other people and they were walking their dogs in the distance.

I came across this pot of interesting succulents.  I really like the big rust red one that looks like leather.

I hope you are able to get outdoors, at least for a walk.  Summer will be over before we know it.

  3. Love Earl Grey, but have not heard of that brand. Oh, well, perfect for our T party! I did walk over three miles early this morning while cool. We have a nice bike path to walk or on a trail that used to be a railroad. Two good choices. Happy T Day1

  4. Lucky you to have a friend who knows what you like. I love the tin, too. I have a thing for tins and would probably put a floral arrangement in the empty one (grin).

Wow, I've never seen the rust red one in my life. It's certainly unique.

Thanks for sharing your walk and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear Darla.

  6. No walks today as the tropical storm Isaias has started in my area. I'd love a cup of tea and Earl Grey is my favorite blend. I like adding a splash of vanilla and shaking the half and half so it pours foamy. The beverage is called a London Fog. That tin is very pretty, too. Happy T Day

  8. I do enjoy Earl Grey- mostly in colder months though and I do love the tin:) It's been difficult to get a good walk in as our heat and especially the humidity has been just too high. Hoping after the stormy day today things will cool off a bit. Nice succulent pot and interesting looking plant. Happy T day!

  12. I enjoy Earl Grey and Lady Grey tea. The tin is lovely.
I love succulents...but stink at keeping them alive. So frustrating. I think I love them to death. I need to be more neglectful with them.
    Happy T day!

  13. Walking has been my best activity during the pandemic. Just to go out in the fresh air amid Nature, is always a tonic. Happy walking to you too. That succulent is very unusual, I'm going to look for that one.

  14. Yes, Earl Grey is really nice.
Good for you that you go out walking. I walk a lot too. (our gym is closed).
Hmm, that succulent looks very interesting. I looked it up on my Plant Snap app and it came up with Kalanchoe Luciae. Have a look.
    Happy (belated) T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  16. I haven't had tea from a tin in quite a while, but I used to love having the tins afterwards, especially when the kids were little. That planter has an interesting variety.

I'm not getting out for walks like I should. I tend to just stay in, which makes no sense at all. Thanks for the encouragement :)
