Tea Stands for Tuesday 5/12/2020

I look forward to Tuesdays and the tea party Elizabeth hosts every week.  It is one of my happy places.  I will be having a cup of English Breakfast Tea as I join the group.

Here is a pair of socks I just finished knitting for DH.  Hot off the needles as they say.  I'm calling them his Quarantine Socks.  I used some yarn from my stash and the two socks aren't exactly alike.  I'm fine with that though.  Not recycling but certainly using what I have.

I hope everyone is staying in and staying safe.

  3. Sock´s season is actually over here. Hubby´s Granma knitted the coolest socks of left overs, the only thing I like about winter. Yay to socks, a happy T-Day!

  4. Hi Darla, We only actually drink breakfast tea.
I love those socks they look very snuggly, mu husband always wears those socks with the none slip bottoms in winter as he doesn't like slippers but our floors are all tiled so they get quite cold.
    Have a great T Day

  9. I love your tea picture. If you don't mind I won't join you for english breakfast tea. We drink any kind of 'tea' as long as it doesn't have real tea in it. Herbal, rooibos etc
I am well impressed with your quarantaine socks! Well done. Looks like you used thin needles too. Your hubby will be pleased.
    Happy T-Day,
    Hugs,

  14. Happy T day Darla. Love the socks. And your husband is a lot more adventurous than mine as mine would never wear any sock other than plain ones. Hope you are having a wonderful T day. Hugs-Erika
