Welcome

These days I am attempting to take it one day at a time.  Hence the title of my new blog

So far this morning ... I have been trying to set up this new blog.

Even though I've been busy, I have missed my morning check ins with my blogger friends.  I'm hoping when I post messages on blogs this site will show up as the link.  I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing with blogger design.

There will be some changes but I plan to continue my neighborhood walks,  keeping track of my knitting and the occasional book review.  One of these days I hope to get back into my art but that may take awhile.

Hope to see old friends and new around the net!

Darla

  2. I've been thinking about you since the tragedy. I can't get the images I saw on TV out of my mind, especially since they remind me that you were one of the victims. I'm glad you have decided to keep blogging, and I'll leave you a message on your old blog on how to share your new one with others.

    But for now, WELCOME BACK.

  7. OK, made it to the other side :) Dear Darla, what a good idea to make a fresh start with your blog. I have been thinking of you, and hoping you were managing alright. I also saw the fires on Australian TV, and was deeply shocked for you. Glad you are continuing your walks, always so necessary for our health as well as soothing for the soul. All the best to you.

  8. I have thought a lot about you in the past couple of weeks. I'm so glad you have decided to continue blogging. I'm hoping it will be good therapy for you. I very much like the name of your new blog, by the way!

  9. I'm glad to see you making a positive new start with a new blog, Darla,I've been thinking about you and was looking for your blog when your post came into my feed. I want to follow you, but for some reason I can never subscribe to Atom feed, it just comes out a load of html. So if there is any way you could put a subscriber/follower button on the blog that would be great. Meanwhile I'll bookmark it so I don't lose it. I wish you all the best in rebuilding life and I'm glad you are in yourself safe and well.
