I'm so happy since it has such a good vibe and energy. I don't sell at many fairs - this is actually the only one this season - but I enjoy it very much.Carola Bartzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05536486322412234854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-512101461858727828.post-14733874412255483182015-10-25T05:47:54.839-07:002015-10-25T05:47:54.839-07:00I have done craft fairs in my area for the past 20...I have done craft fairs in my area for the past 20+ years. I used to do 10 or so between October and mid December and slowly they have dwindled down to only 1 or 2 still running them. This is the first year I have decided to give it up. As you know, I do sell on Etsy, and I have just learned of Amazon Handmade also. There are so many sites now for individuals to sell on, it is a little mind boggling. I have not had a real chance to check them out yet.Craftymoose Craftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02791008130982382299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-512101461858727828.post-14214749972085582832015-10-16T04:17:26.383-07:002015-10-16T04:17:26.383-07:00Craft fairs?

Not because of the products but because of the crowds of people hanging by, unable to decide if to buy or not to buy. I am too impatient.mettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13732534795009852825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-512101461858727828.post-9780845032557945362015-10-15T07:31:56.536-07:002015-10-15T07:31:56.536-07:00Amazon is the 800 pound gorilla, except that goril...Amazon is the 800 pound gorilla, except that gorillas are very gentle. That was when I quilted a lot. These days I save money by staying away! I have never heard of Amazon hand-made, maybe I should avoid it. I would love a dressmaking fair, but it is unlikely to happen - few people sew clothes these days.Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11685403215601517267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-512101461858727828.post-69273380392829220772015-10-15T02:11:44.106-07:002015-10-15T02:11:44.106-07:00I really hate Amazon because it tax-dodges in the ...I really hate Amazon because it tax-dodges in the UK and I have heard it is a mean employer. But you do get a wider base of people. I sell books sometimes on Amazon because people automatically think of it first for books, but I wouldn't help it build up its handmade business to compete with Etsy. So that's my 2 cents worth ! :)Jenny Woolfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16881781466502273314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-512101461858727828.post-3482927350988260562015-10-14T16:40:01.462-07:002015-10-14T16:40:01.462-07:00I used to sell at craft shows and street festivals...I used to sell at craft shows and street festivals and really enjoyed it ...but it is a lot of very hard work.
